Duelist Saga Card gallery and spoiler:
https://bit.ly/2TpxOMP | Spoiler

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN075 | Synchro Monster
Goyo Guardian
EARTH | Warrior-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2800 | DEF 2000
1 EARTH Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster to your field in Defense Position.
(Ultra Rare)

It now requires an EARTH Tuner monster, making it much harder to use and even the main effect isn't enough to rate it higher.

                               Rating: 3 | DUSA-EN073 | Synchro Monster
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
WATER | Sea Serpent-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2300 | DEF 1400
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
You can discard any number of cards to the Graveyard, then target the same number of cards your opponent controls; return those cards to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It may have been errata'd but nothing's changed from how I used it in the first place.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN062 | Spell Card
Future Fusion
Continuous Spell
During your 1st Standby Phase after this card's activation: Show 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and send the Fusion Materials listed on it from your Main Deck to the Graveyard. During your 2nd Standby Phase after this card's activation: Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck with the same name as the monster you showed, and target it with this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy that target. When that target is destroyed, destroy this card.
(Ultra Rare)

Now it's far too slow to even benefit from the effect at all.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN049 | Trap Card
Imperial Order
Continuous Trap
Negate all Spell effects on the field. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase, you must pay 700 LP (this is not optional), or this card is destroyed.
(Ultra Rare)

It's basically a contract you're required to make payments for each turn, not just yours until you're nearly out of LP.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN046 | Spell Card
Brain Control
Normal Spell
Pay 800 LP, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that can be Normal Summoned/Set; take control of that target until the End Phase.
(Ultra Rare)

The odds of your opponent having anything that can be Normal Summoned/Set at the time you draw this are near zero.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN042 | Spell Card
Dueltaining
Field Spell
For each player, the first time they do each of the following per turn, they draw 2 cards.
● Special Summon 5 monsters with different Levels at the same time.
● 1 monster they control battles 5 times.
● Activate a card or effect as Chain Link 5 or higher.
● Roll 1 six-sided die, or toss a coin, 5 times.
● Take damage that made their LP 500 or less.
(Ultra Rare)

ARC-V's Jack Atlas spared no negativity to Yuya Sakaki regarding his Dueling style and the card is about as bad.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN041 | Spell Card
Contract with Don Thousand
Continuous Spell
When this card is activated: Both players lose 1000 LP, and if they do, each draws 1 card. All cards that are drawn while this card's effect is applied must remain revealed. While a player's Spell Card in their hand is revealed by this effect, that player cannot Normal Summon/Set monsters. You can only activate 1 "Contract with Don Thousand" per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

No one would've expected it to retain the activation requirement it had in the anime but now it's no good.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN040 | Trap Card
Halfway to Forever
Normal Trap
Target 2 monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon both, but they have their effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 LIGHT "Utopia" or "Utopic" Xyz Monster using only those 2 monsters.
(Ultra Rare)

It's a double Monster Reborn but only to Xyz Summon LIGHT Utopia or Utopic Xyz Monsters.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN039 | Spell Card
Light Wing Shield
Quick-Play Spell
When a monster's attack is negated: Activate 1 of these effects;
● It becomes the End Phase of this turn.
● Target 1 "Utopia" Xyz Monster you control; its ATK becomes double its original ATK until the end of this turn.
If a "Utopia" Xyz Monster you control would detach exactly 1 Xyz Material to activate its effect, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead.
(Ultra Rare)

It's basically Double or Nothing! for Utopia Xyz Monsters but Double or Nothing! is the better card.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN038 | Spell Card
Clashing Souls
Quick-Play Spell
During damage calculation, if your Attack Position monster battles an opponent's Attack Position monster with higher ATK: The controller of the battling monster with lower ATK can pay 500 LP for that monster to gain 500 ATK during damage calculation only, then keep repeating this effect until a player chooses not to pay LP. Neither player takes any battle damage from that battle, also, after damage calculation, if any player's monster would be destroyed by that battle, send all cards that player controls to the Graveyard instead.
(Ultra Rare)

So this is just a contest to keep a Duelist's respective monster alive until there's pretty much nothing left? What a waste.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN037 | Trap Card
Converging Wishes
Normal Trap
If you have 5 or more Dragon-Type Synchro Monsters with different names in your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Extra Deck (this is treated as a Synchro Summon), but banish it during the End Phase. Equip it with this card. While equipped, it gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all Dragon-Type Synchro Monsters in your Graveyard. Also while equipped, when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can banish 1 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Graveyard; it can attack an opponent's monster again in a row.
(Ultra Rare)

You need a lot in your Graveyard to even use this and even then it's only for Stardust Dragon.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN036 | Spell Card
Cosmic Flare
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 "Stardust" Synchro Monster you control; this turn, if that Synchro Monster you control battles an opponent's monster, shuffle that opponent's monster into the Deck at the start of the Damage Step. If a "Stardust" Synchro Monster you control would Tribute itself to activate its effect, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead.
(Ultra Rare)

Two perks are available, both of which spare Stardust Synchro Monsters but not much among those is good.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN035 | Effect Monster
Clear Effector
LIGHT | Spellcaster | Level 2 | ATK 0 | DEF 900
If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material: Draw 1 card. A Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material cannot be destroyed by card effects.
(Ultra Rare)

Too bad it's not a Tuner monster but it offers relatively decent effects when it becomes Synchro Material.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN034 | Synchro Monster
Cosmic Blazar Dragon
WIND | Dragon-Type Synchro | Level 12 | ATK 4000 | DEF 4000
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can banish this card until the End Phase to activate 1 of these Quick Effects;
● When your opponent activates a card or effect: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.
● When your opponent would Summon a monster(s): Negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that monster(s).
● When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Negate the attack, then end the Battle Phase.
(Ultra Rare)

For all the work it requires, it shouldn't need to leave the field or at least should be allowed to be revived later but it has its uses.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN033 | Trap Card
Power Wall
Normal Trap
During damage calculation, when you would take battle damage from an opponent's attacking monster: Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard for every 500 damage (round up) you are about to take, also you take no battle damage from that battle.
(Ultra Rare)

It's honestly pretty bad because it only works for 1 attack and even then you'll probably not be sending much.

                               Rating: 4 | DUSA-EN032 | Spell Card
White Veil
Equip Spell
While the equipped monster battles, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. When an attack is declared involving the equipped monster: Face-up Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls have their effects negated until the end of the Damage Step (even if this card leaves the field). When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls. When this face-up card in a player's Spell & Trap Zone leaves the field, that player takes 3000 damage.
(Ultra Rare)

I expected multiple downsides when this card was first revealed in the OCG but there's only one and you can easily avoid it.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN031 | Spell Card
Fallen Paradise
Field Spell
Your opponent cannot target "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", or "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" in your Monster Zones with card effects, also those monsters cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects while you control them. If you control "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" or "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" in your Monster Zone: You can draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Fallen Paradise" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Too bad only 2 of those cards are any good and they're still difficult to bring out.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN030 | Effect Monster
Dark Summoning Beast
DARK | Fiend | Level 5 | ATK 0 | DEF 0
You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, also monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Dark Summoning Beast" once per turn. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or “Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" from your Deck to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

It works with Mystic Tomato and Limit Reverse but you're only bringing out 1 Sacred Beast and the other effect isn't that helpful.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN029 | Spell Card
Skydive Scorcher
Normal Spell
Target 1 "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster you control; destroy as many monsters your opponent controls as possible, with ATK higher than that monster's, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the highest original ATK among those destroyed monsters in the Graveyard (your choice, if tied). If a "Skyscraper" Field Spell Card is in your Field Zone, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined original ATK of those destroyed monsters in the Graveyard, instead.
(Ultra Rare)

You don't need Flame Wingman but most aren't even that good anyway and neither is Skyscraper.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN028 | Effect Monster
Elemental HERO Honest Neos
LIGHT | Warrior | Level 7 | ATK 2500 | DEF 2000
During either player's turn: You can discard this card, then target 1 "HERO" monster on the field; it gains 2500 ATK until the end of this turn. During either player’s turn: You can discard 1 "HERO" monster; this card gains ATK equal to the discarded monster's ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Elemental HERO Honest Neos" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

The highest ATK that HERO monster can gain is 2600, which isn't bad but it's a bit of a let down.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN027 | Trap Card
Harpie's Feather Storm
Normal Trap
If you control a WIND Winged Beast-Type monster: Until the end of this turn, negate any monster effects your opponent activates. If you control a "Harpie" monster, you can activate this card from your hand. If this card in its owner's Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can add 1 "Harpie's Feather Duster" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

Any WIND Winged Beast will work with this but it only blocks Monster effects and Harpie's Feather Duster is still banned.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN026 | Effect Monster
Diabound Kernel
DARK | Fiend | Level 5 | ATK 1800 | DEF 1200
When this card declares an attack: It gains 600 ATK. During either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to this card's current ATK until the end of this turn, then banish this card until the Standby Phase of the next turn. You can only use this effect of "Diabound Kernel" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

The first 2 effects aren't that bad but the last one kills any chances of it getting a higher rating.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN025 | Spell Card
Chaos Scepter Blast
Quick-Play Spell
If you control a Level 8 or higher Spellcaster-Type monster: Banish 1 card on the field face-down. If this card in its owner's Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Magician of Black Chaos" or "Dark Magician of Chaos" from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.
(Ultra Rare)

Its rating is for the 2nd effect, which is probably the most convenient of the effects to use.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN024 | Spell Card
Legacy of the Duelist
Continuous Spell
When your monster declares an attack: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; negate the attack, and if you do, destroy that card. Each player can only Set 1 Spell/Trap Card from their hand per turn. Monsters cannot attack the turn they were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. During your Draw Phase, before your draw: You can give up your normal draw this turn, and if you do, add 1 monster from your Graveyard to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

The video game costs money to do anything beyond your starting point and this restrains players from doing much at all.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN023 | Trap Card
Darklord Descent
Normal Trap
Pay half your LP; Special Summon up to 2 "Darklord" monsters from your Graveyard in Defense Position, with the same Level as 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.
(Ultra Rare)

You revive up to 2 Darklords in Defense Mode for a really steep cost but you can use them for whatever you want.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN022 | Effect Monster
Darklord Ukoback
DARK | Fairy | Level 3 | ATK 700 | DEF 1000
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Darklord" card from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Darklord Ukoback" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

The weakest Darklord by far and with nothing to offer but sending one of its worthless friends to the Graveyard.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN021 | Effect Monster
Vision HERO Vylon
DARK | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1000 | DEF 1200
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Vision HERO Vyon" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "HERO" monster from your Graveyard; add 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

It can dump high-Level HERO monsters for revival later but I wouldn't do it to activate the 2nd effect and his stats are weak.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN020 | Effect Monster
Gozuki
EARTH | Zombie | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 800
During your Main Phase: You can send 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can banish 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard, except "Gozuki"; Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand. You can only use each effect of "Gozuki" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Only the 1st effect is any good because that gets Zombies in your Graveyard for use with Book of Life and the like.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN019 | Spell Card
Legacy of a HERO
Normal Spell
Return 2 Fusion Monsters from your Graveyard to the Extra Deck that list a "HERO" monster as Material; draw 3 cards. You can only activate 1 "Legacy of a HERO" per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

If you're running the original Elemental HERO Fusions, this'll put them back where they came from and you draw 3 cards.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN018 | Synchro Monster
Celestial Double Star Shaman
LIGHT | Fairy, Synchro and Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 100 | DEF 800
1 Tuner + 1 non-Tuner monster
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 4 Level 2 non-Tuner monsters from your hand and/or Graveyard in Defense Position, but they have their effects negated, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Synchro Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Celestial Double Star Shaman" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

At least Formula Synchron has high DEF. This has nothing good to offer at all.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN017 | Trap Card
Synchro Call
Normal Trap
Target 1 monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 DARK Dragon or Fiend-Type Synchro Monster using only monsters you control as Materials, including the Summoned monster.
(Ultra Rare)

It's a bad Monster Reborn that forces you to Synchro Summon.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN016 | Effect Monster
Wandering King Wildwind
DARK | Fiend | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 1300
If you control a Fiend-Type Tuner with 1500 or less ATK, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If you attempt this, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Synchro Monsters. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 Fiend-Type Tuner with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

Most good Fiend-Type Tuners are the Resonator monsters but Special Summoning it by its effect is ill advised.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN015 | Spell Card
Necroid Synchro
Normal Spell
Banish 1 Tuner and up to 2 non-Tuner monsters from your Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Stardust" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Levels of those banished monsters, but it has its effects negated. (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.)
(Ultra Rare)

It only works with Stardust monsters and the materials are removed from play and negates the Stardust monster's effects.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN014 | Xyz Monster
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK | Insect-Type Xyz | Rank 4 | ATK 2400 | DEF 1200
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.
(Ultra Rare)

It gets stronger after each successful attack but it doesn't gain much as a result and the banished monster isn't gone long.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN013 | Xyz Monster
Number 28: Titanic Moth
FIRE | Insect-Type Xyz | Rank 7 | ATK 2400 | DEF 2200
2 Level 7 monsters
If you control no other monsters, this card can attack directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each card in their hand.
(Ultra Rare)

Easier to Summon than the stronger Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth but also weaker and with somewhat better effects.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN012 | Effect Monster
Brohunder
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 4 | ATK 900 | DEF 400
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Brohunder".
(Ultra Rare)

Thunder King Rai-Oh is the best card to get with this but that doesn't make this guy all that playable, even with the others.

                              Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN011 | Spell Card
Chain Summon
Normal Spell
If you control 2 or more face-up Xyz Monsters: Target the one with the lowest Rank (your choice, if tied); Special Summon 1 Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, whose Rank is lower than that Xyz Monster, but the Special Summoned monster cannot attack directly, also return it to the Extra Deck during the End Phase.
(Ultra Rare)

Why does this exist? You need more than what you get in return and even end up losing a monster.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN010 | Trap Card
Diamond Dust
Normal Trap
Destroy as many WATER monsters on the field as possible, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each WATER monster destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by this effect.
(Ultra Rare)

Against WATER Decks, this won't be too bad obviously but everywhere else can play around it with ease.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN009 | Spell Card
Sea Lord's Amulet
Continuous Spell
Send this card to the Graveyard during your opponent's 3rd End Phase after activation. WATER monsters you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.
(Ultra Rare)

It seems like a good card until you read that it only stays around 3 turns.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN008 | Xyz Monster
Full Armored Black Ray Lancer
WATER | Beast-Warrior-Type Xyz | Rank 4 | ATK 2100 | DEF 600
3 Level 4 WATER monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 3 WATER Xyz Monster you control that has no Xyz Materials as the Xyz Material. This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can detach all of its Xyz Materials instead. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target.
(Ultra Rare)

A major downgrade as it loses pretty much everything it has to use the 1st effect and otherwise you get an MST effect.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN007 | Xyz Monster
Full Armored Crystalzero Lancer
WATER | Warrior-Tye Xyz | Rank 6 | ATK 2200 | DEF 1600
3 Level 6 WATER monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 5 WATER Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card gains 500 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all face-up monsters your opponent controls have their effects negated until the end of this turn.
(Ultra Rare)

The ATK boost helps, but it will lose ATK each time its effects are used and its printed ATK and DEF are no stronger than Number 94's.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN006 | Xyz Monster
Number 94: Crystalzero
WATER | Warrior-Type Xyz | Rank 5 | ATK 2200 | DEF 1600
2 Level 5 WATER monsters
During either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; its ATK becomes half its current ATK until the end of your turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Reptilanne Medusa is about as strong, drains the ATK to 0 and can use the effect multiple times per turn.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN005 | Effect Monster
Guard Penguin
WATER | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 0 | DEF 1200
When you take damage from a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, gain LP equal to the damage you took.
(Ultra Rare)

The better thing is to avoid the damage or make it into LP gained as it happens and this guy does neither and has poor stats.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN004 | Effect Monster
Saber Shark
WATER | Fish | Level 4 | ATK 1600 | DEF 1200
Cannot be used as a Synchro Material. Up to twice per turn: You can target 1 Fish-Type monster on the field, then activate 1 of these effects.
● Increase its Level by 1.
● Reduce its Level by 1.
You cannot Special Summon any monsters during the turn you activate this effect, except WATER monsters.
(Ultra Rare)

It can't be Synchro Material but can certainly help with Xyz Summoning.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN003 | Effect Monster
Depth Shark
WATER | Fish | Level 5 | ATK 1400 | DEF 0
If you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase: This card's ATK becomes double its current ATK until the end of this turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It can have 2800 ATK for a turn but it's quite weak to start and outside of that, it has nothing.

                               Rating: 1 | DUSA-EN002 | Effect Monster
Silent Angler
WATER | Fish | Level 4 | ATK 800 | DEF 1400
If you control a WATER monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand), but you cannot Special Summon monsters from your hand for the rest of this turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Shark and Rio would be disgusted to see this card, considering it's really bad.

                               Rating: 2 | DUSA-EN001 | Effect Monster
Double Fin Shark
WATER | Fish | Level 4 | ATK 1000 | DEF 1200
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 3 or 4 WATER Fish-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but it has its effects negated. You cannot Special Summon any monsters during the turn you activate this effect, except WATER monsters.
(Ultra Rare)

Rank 4 Xyz Summons are certainly a possibility but there's little to do with it if you don't Normal Summon it.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN040 | Fusion Monster
Quintet Magician
DARK | Spellcaster-Type Fusion | Level 12 | ATK 4500 | DEF 4500
5 Spellcaster monsters
Must be Fusion Summoned. If this card is Fusion Summoned using 5 Spellcaster monsters with different names: You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. This face-up card on the field cannot be Tributed, nor used as Fusion Material, also it cannot be destroyed by card effects.
(Ultra Rare)

It's Five-Headed Dragon for Spellcasters but Five-Headed Dragon has a better effect, higher stats and better Dragon support.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN039 | Link Monster
Platinum Gadget
LIGHT | Machine-Type Link | ATK 1600 | Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 Machine monsters
Cannot be used as Link Material the turn it is Link Summoned. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Machine monster from your hand to your zone this card points to. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Gadget" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Platinum Gadget" once per turn.

A new Gadget monster has arrived but the Archetype still doesn't really have what it takes to thrive on its own.

Beat Cop from the Underworld
DARK | Fiend-Type Link | ATK 1000 Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 monsters
If this card is Link Summoned using 2 DARK monsters with different names as material, it gains this effect.
● You can Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 face-up card on the field; place 1 Patrol Counter on it. You can only use this effect of "Beat Cop from the Underworld" once per turn. (If a card with a Patrol Counter would be destroyed by battle or card effect, remove 1 Patrol Counter from it instead.)
(Ultra Rare)

Try Beaten Up Cop from the Underworld because its ATK is from when she was a Tour Guide and she was bad back then.

Security Dragon
LIGHT | Cyberse-Type Link | ATK 1100 | Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Bottom
2 monsters
Once while face-up on the field, if this card is co-linked: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; return it to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Security Dragon" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

From the looks of its ATK and effects, it's clearly the monster version of AVG antivirus software and that's a VERY BAD thing.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN036 | Effect Monster
Cyber Dragon Nachster
LIGHT | Machine | Level 1 | ATK 200 | DEF 200
This card's name becomes "Cyber Dragon" while on the field or in the GY. You can discard 1 other monster; Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Machine monster with 2100 ATK or DEF in your GY; Special Summon it, also, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters. You can only use each effect of "Cyber Dragon Nachster" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It's quite feeble and can only revive Machines with 2100 ATK or DEF, leaving few choices. The other effects aren't any better.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN035 | Pendulum Monster
Predaplant Spider Orchid
DARK | Plant-Type Pendulum | Level 1 | ATK 0 | DEF 0 | Scale 8

During your Main Phase, if this card was activated this turn: You can target 1 other face-up card in the Spell & Trap Zone; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Predaplant Spider Orchid" once per turn.
During the End Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can discard 1 Plant monster; add 1 Level 4 or lower Plant monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Predaplant Spider Orchid" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

A Scale of 8 is about all this card is good for since the effects are pretty bad.

Photon Advancer
LIGHT | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1000 | DEF 1000
If a "Photon" monster is on the field, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Photon Advancer" once per turn this way. Gains 1000 ATK if another "Photon" monster is on the field.
(Ultra Rare)

It includes itself and even your opponent's Photon monsters but it's still pretty weak and only has one other effect.

Lefty Driver
EARTH | Machine | Level 2 | ATK 300 | DEF 100
If this card is Special Summoned: You can make this card become Level 3 until the end of this turn. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Righty Driver" from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Lefty Driver" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

At least it can grab its Tuner companion but that's about it.

Righty Driver
EARTH | Machine-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 100 | DEF 300
For a Synchro Summon, you can substitute this card for any 1 "Synchron" Tuner. If this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Lefty Driver" from your hand, Deck, or GY. You can only use this effect of "Righty Driver" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

You don't have to substitute it for anything as it's a Tuner on its own but that's all it's really good for.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN031 | Effect Monster
Nine-Tailed Fox
FIRE | Zombie | Level 6 | ATK 2200 | DEF 2000
If this card is in your hand or GY: You can Tribute 2 monsters; Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Nine-Tailed Fox" once per turn. If this card that was Special Summoned from the GY attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 2 "Fox Tokens (Zombie/FIRE/Level 2/ATK 500/
DEF 500).
(Ultra Rare)

There are a few ways to revive it from the Grave but only the last effect applies while it's on the field, which isn't much to speak of.

Thunder Dragon Thunderstormech
LIGHT | Thunder-Type Link | ATK 2800 | Link-4
Active Link Arrow(s): Left, Right, Bottom and Bottom-Right
2+ Thunder monsters
During your Main Phase, if you control this Link Summoned card: You can target 1 of your "Thunder Dragon" monsters that is banished or in your GY; apply that monster's effect that discards itself to activate, then place that monster on the top or bottom of your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Thunder Dragon Thunderstormech" once per turn. If a Thunder monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish 3 cards from your GY instead.
(Ultra Rare)

It's hard to bring out and has bad effects, which seems to be the combo Konami likes most.

Aromaseraphy Jasmine
LIGHT | Plant-Type Link | ATK 1800 | Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 Plant monsters
If your LP are higher than your opponent's, this card and any Plant monsters it points to cannot be destroyed by battle. You can Tribute 1 monster this card points to; Special Summon 1 Plant monster from your Deck in Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Aromaseraphy Jasmine" once per turn. Once per turn, if you gain LP: Add 1 Plant monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Ultra Rare)

It's pretty much restrained to Plant Decks because LP gain Decks like mine won't be able to really use it.

Crowley, the First Propheseer
DARK | Spellcaster-Type Link | ATK 1000 | Link-2

2 Spellcaster monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: You can reveal 3 "Spellbook" cards with different names from your Deck, and your opponent randomly picks 1 for you to add to your hand, also shuffle the rest into your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Crowley, the First Propheseer" once per turn. Each turn, 1 Level 5 or higher Spellcaster monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing.
(Ultra Rare)

Prophecy Decks finally jump on the bandwagon and get a Link Monster but it's about as subpar as the rest of the crew.

                               Rating: 1 | DUPO-EN027 | Link Monster
Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres
LIGHT | Dragon-Type Link | ATK 0 | Link-2

2 Dragon monsters
Once per opponent's turn, if this card is in the Extra Monster Zone (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field; return 1 face-up card on the field to the hand. If this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck, but make its ATK/DEF 0. You can only use this effect of "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It's pointless to bring out a monster whose ATK and DEF become 0, even if it's to Xyz Summon because that's pretty desperate.

Tactical Exchanger
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Rokket" monster with a different original name from your Deck or GY. You can only activate 1 "Tactical Exchanger" per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Even Rokket Decks should look elsewhere as this card isn't going to be better than cards of the past.

Booster Dragon
DARK | Dragon-Type Link | ATK 1900 | Link-2

2 "Rokket" monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 other face-up monster on the field; it gains 500 ATK/DEF. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. If this Link Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can target 1 other Dragon monster in your GY; Special Summon it. You can only use this effect of "Booster Dragon" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It needs Rokket Link Materials but when destroyed, you can revive any other Dragon-Type monster from your Grave.

Gouki Cage Match
Field Spell
When this card is activated: Place 3 counters on this card. If your "Gouki" monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Remove 1 counter from this card. Once per turn, at the end of the Battle Phase, if the last of these counters has been removed this way: You can Special Summon as many "Gouki" monsters as possible with different names from your hand and/or Deck, then place 3 counters on this card.
(Ultra Rare)

It loses a counter for each successful attack your Goukis make but resets that amount at the end of the Battle Phase and brings out additional members.

Gouki Jet Ogre
EARTH | Warrior-Type Link | ATK 2000 | Link-2

If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can make all "Gouki" monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gouki Jet Ogre" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

It's alright for Gouki Decks but pretty much any other Deck won't be able to do much with it.

                               Rating: 2 | DUPO-EN022 | Spell Card
Trickstar Magical Laurel
Equip Spell
Activate this card by targeting 1 "Trickstar" monster in your GY; Special Summon it and equip it with this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy that monster. Once per turn, if the equipped monster inflicts battle or effect damage to your opponent: You can Special Summon 1 "Trickstar" monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Trickstar Magical Laurel" per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Better support for Trickstars but Archetypes as a whole will generally never get high marks from me that often.

Trickstar Foxglove Witch
LIGHT | Fairy-Type Link | ATK 2200 | Link-3

If this Link Summoned card is destroyed by battle or effect: You can Special Summon 1 Link-2 or lower "Trickstar" monster from your Extra Deck, then inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each card they control. You can only use each effect of "Trickstar Foxglove Witch" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

The effect damage will probably be around 1000 damage but for a Link-3 monster, it's still pretty subpar.

Gains ATK equal to the combined Link Ratings of the monsters used for its Link Summon x 300. Unaffected by monster effects, except Link Monsters' effects, and cannot be destroyed by battle, except by battle with a Link Monster.
(Ultra Rare)

With only 1500 ATK to start, you'll need Link-2 or higher Link Monsters to make this worthwhile, which is just bad.

Magic Gate of Miracles
Normal Spell
If you control 2 or more Spellcaster monsters: Change 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls to Defense Position, then take control of it, and if you do, it cannot be destroyed by battle.

It can work in any Spellcaster Deck, but it doesn't offer much for gaining control of a monster.

Dark Magic Twin Burst
Normal Spell
Target 1 "Dark Magician" you control; it gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all "Dark Magician Girl" currently on the field and in the GYs, until the end of this turn. You can only activate 1 "Dark Magic Twin Burst" per turn.

Both required monsters are pretty bad, even with all the support they have.

Target 1 "Decode Talker" you control; apply the following effects this turn, depending on the number of monsters it currently points to.
● 1+: That monster gains 500 ATK for each monster it currently points to.
● 2+: Monsters destroyed by battle with that monster are banished after damage calculation.
● 3: After damage calculation, if that monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle: Destroy all cards your opponent controls.
You can only activate 1 "Decode Destruction" per turn.
(Ultra Rare)

Wasn't going to give higher than 1/5 until I read the last bullet but it's still specific to Decode Talker.

If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Backup Secretary" from your hand, Deck, or GY. You can only use each effect of "Backup Supervisor" once per turn.

It's not going to provide much backup at all, especially when it only brings out an equally pitiful monster upon being destroyed.

You can only use each effect of "Cyberse Enchanter" once per turn.

Even if it does require a decent monster, that's not enough to offset just how bad this card is for a Link-3 monster.

You can remove 3 counters from this card; during your Main Phase this turn, you can conduct 1 Pendulum Summon of a monster(s) in addition to your Pendulum Summon. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)
