| Do
tornadoes hit big cities? Yes. It's a rare occurence but it's happened quite a few times. Nashville, TN, Dallas, TX and St. Louis, MO have all been hit by tornadoes. Trenton, NJ was also pretty close to getting one https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/local/2020/03/06/nashville-worst-tornadoes-last-25-years/4966143002/ |
| Was DUCK!
robbed in the Last Chance Rumble from BattleBots Season 3 on
Discovery? No. You have to ask yourself, what did DUCK! do during the rumble that was meaningful? Bombshell tore off an entire tread from Red Devil whereas DUCK was unable to do much of anything at all. Bombshell was also not "playing dead" as people claim. They were swapping drivers as the one driving up until that point didn't have experience crabwalking the robot. They had Bombshell's builder Mike Jefferies, whom was in the crowd at the time, take over the robot. Rules for rumbles go back to the Comedy Central era of the show and if anything, that's where the blame should be for the controversy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkrgyeGBY1M |
| Did
Voltarc cheat against Biohazard during Season 1.0 of BattleBots? No. Regarding the whole "holding a bot for 30 seconds" only applied pinning the opponent against the wall. This was obviously rectified the following season as there's no evidence it ever happened again http://forums.delphiforums.com/battlebot_tech/messages?msg=10412.266&gid=2048554663 |
| Can
lightning strike the same place twice? Yes. If you were to watch footage of a lightning strike online, you'd probably see multiple flashes in the same spot. That's lightning hitting the same place multiple times. https://www.noaa.gov/stories/5-striking-facts-versus-myths-about-lightning-you-should-know (myth #4) |
