Shadow of Infinity (SOI-EN) Card Ratings

1. SOI-ENSE1-SE4 are only included because of their Set ID.
2. For info on how these ratings are determined, click here.
3. Card gallery: https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Set_Card_Galleries:Shadow_of_Infinity_(TCG-EN-1E)
                               Rating: 1 | SOI-ENSE4 | Spell Card
Mesmeric Control
Normal Spell
During your opponent's next turn after you activate this card, your opponent cannot change the battle positions of monsters, except with a card effect.
(Secret Rare)

The only purpose to use this is to stall for more time but it's just not that great a card as you can destroy those monsters with Dark Hole or Raigeki.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-ENSE3 | Trap Card
Windstorm of Etaqua
Normal Trap
Change the battle positions of all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field.
(Secret Rare)

If you're faced with 5 powerful monsters, this card can help turn things around, unless of course one of those monsters is Jinzo. A good card overall.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-ENSE2 | Spell Card
Riryoku
Normal Spell
Halve the ATK of 1 face-up monster and add the same amount to the ATK of another face-up monster, until the end of this turn.
(Secret Rare)

Like Acid Trap Hole this has its ups and downs but isn't that great a card overall.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-ENSE1 | Trap Card
Acid Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Select 1 face-down Defense Position monster. Flip it face-up, and if the DEF of the monster is 2000 points or less, destroy the monster. If the DEF is more than 2000 points, return the monster to face-down Defense Position.
(Secret Rare)

This is a very situational card but not a great one either as the monster must have less than 2000 points to be destroyed, which is okay but not great.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN060 | Trap Card
Malfunction
Counter Trap
Pay 500 Life Points. Negate the activation of a Trap Card and return it to its original position.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

I'd rather pay 1000 Life Points using Seven Tools and negate the Trap Card activation instead of this so use Seven Tools instead.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN059 | Trap Card
Goblin Out of the Frying Pan
Counter Trap
Pay 500 Life Points. Negate the activation of a Spell Card and return it to the owner's hand.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

500 Life Points isn't too bad unless to return a Spell Card negated by this card to your opponent's hand. Spell Shield is a much better card to use than this.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN058 | Trap Card
Option Hunter
Normal Trap
You can only activate this card when a monster on your side of the field is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard. Increase your Life Points by the original ATK of the destroyed monster.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

While this card is okay Draining Shield is better as your opponent's attack is negated and you gain Life Points equal to that monster's ATK.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN057 | Trap Card
Success Probability 0%
Normal Trap
Send 2 random Fusion monsters from your opponent's Fusion Deck to the Graveyard.
(Common)

0% is indeed the probability of success... of you or the number of people dumb enough to activate this card.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN056 | Trap Card
Full Salvo
Normal Trap
After the activation of this card, send your entire hand to the Graveyard. Inflict 200 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each card you sent to the Graveyard by this effect.
(Common)

Just bad. Discarding your entire hand just to inflict 200 x the number of cards discarded to your opponent's Life Points isn't too good at all so don't use this card.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN055 | Trap Card
Generation Shift
Normal Trap
Destroy 1 face-up monster on your side of the field. Add 1 card from your Deck to your hand with the same name as the destroyed card.
(Common)

What's to like about this card? You destroy one of your own monsters just to add a monster with the destroyed monster's name to your hand. Simply not worth playing.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN054 | Trap Card
Next to be Lost
Normal Trap
Select 1 face-up monster on your side of the field. Send 1 card from your Deck to the Graveyard with the same name as the selected card.
(Common)

This card is next to be lost but last to be found as it has nothing decent to make it playable.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN053 | Trap Card
Karma Cut
Normal Trap
Discard 1 card from your hand. Remove from play 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. If there is a card(s) in your opponent's Graveyard with the same name as the removed monster, also remove from play that card(s).
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Use Compulsory Evacuation Device instead.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN052 | Trap Card
Damage Condenser
Normal Trap
You can only activate this card by discarding 1 card from your hand when you take Battle Damage to your Life Points. Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck with ATK equal to or less than the Battle Damage you took, in Attack Position.
(Super Rare)

Don't use this except in Crowler Decks and for everywhere else, use Mirror Force, Negate Attack or Magic Cylinder instead.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN051 | Trap Card
Attack Reflector Unit
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 "Cyber Dragon" on your side of the field to activate this card. Special Summon 1 "Cyber Barrier Dragon" from your hand or Deck.
(Common)

Tributing Cyber Dragon for a 2400 ATK monster isn't half bad especially when the monster has a decent effect!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN050 | Trap Card
Miracle Kids
Normal Trap
Decrease the ATK of 1 of your opponent's monsters by 400 points for each "Hero Kid" in your Graveyard, until the End Phase.
(Common)

400 ATK points can make a difference but not a big one. 1200 points can make a rather large difference so it's best to use this with 3 Hero Kids.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN049 | Trap Card
Super Junior Confrontation
Normal Trap
You can only activate this card when your opponent's monster declares an attack. Negate the battle, and 1 monster with the lowest ATK in face-up Attack Position on your opponent's side of the field battles against 1 monster with the lowest DEF in face-up Defense Position on your side of the field. After that battle ends, end the Battle Phase.
(Common)

Chances are, the lowest DEF on your side of the field will be higher than the lowest ATK on your opponent's field. If you want to use this, use it in a Jaden Deck.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN048 | Spell Card
Samsara
Continuous Spell
monster Cards Tributed for a Ritual Summon are returned to the owner's Deck instead of being sent to the Graveyard. Then shuffle your Deck.
(Common)

This is great especially if you somehow had an Exodia piece set on the field and you don't lose the Tributed monsters as they return to your Deck! A good card indeed!

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN047 | Spell Card
Ancient Gear Castle
Continuous Spell
Increase the ATK of each face-up monster on the field that includes "Ancient Gear" in its card name by 300 points. Each time a monster(s) is Normal Summoned or Set, put 1 counter on this card. If you Tribute Summon a monster that includes "Ancient Gear" in its card name, you can substitute this card for a Tribute(s), if the number of counters on this card is equal to or greater than the number of required Tribute(s).
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Play Ancient Gear Golem without having to Tribute any of your monsters! What gives this card a 3 out of 5 is the low 300 ATK boost.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN046 | Spell Card
End of the World
Ritual Spell
This card can be used to Ritual Summon "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion", or "Demise, King of Armageddon". You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon.
(Common)

The first ever Ritual Spell to be able to Ritual Summon 1 of two Ritual Monsters and great ones at that!

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN045 | Spell Card
Photon Generator Unit
Quick-Play Spell
Tribute 2 "Cyber Dragon"s on your side of the field to activate this card. Special Summon 1 "Cyber Laser Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.
(Common)

Tributing 2 Cyber Dragons, (which have up to 2100 ATK each) for a monster with stats of (800/2800) isn't worth it. If  you absolutely must use this card, do so in a Zane Truesdale Deck.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN044 | Spell Card
Trial of the Princesses
Equip Spell
You can only equip this card to "White Magician Pikeru" or "Ebon Magician Curran". Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 800 points. During a turn that the equipped monster destroyed a Level 5 or higher monster as a result of battle, by Tributing the equipped monster and this card, Special Summon from your hand or Deck: 1 "Princess Pikeru" if you Tributed "White Magician Pikeru", or 1 "Princess Curran" if you Tributed "Ebon Magician Curran".
(Common)

The equipped monster gets 800 ATK points, which isn't too bad at all considering that both princesses have 2000 ATK to begin with. Its secondary effect however, isn't too great.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN043 | Spell Card
Symbol of Heritage
Equip Spell
You can only activate this card while there are 3 monster cards with the same name in your Graveyard. Select 1 of those monsters, Special Summon it to your side of the field, and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, destroy the equipped monster.
(Common)

Revive 1 of your monsters like Blue-Eyes without the cost! A nice card to use but the catch is you can only use it on 1 of the 3 monsters in your Graveyard with the same name.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN042 | Spell Card
Cyclone Boomerang
Equip Spell
You can only equip this card to "Elemental Hero Wildheart". Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points. When the equipped monster is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. Inflict 100 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each Spell or Trap Card destroyed by this effect.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

An interesting card to say the least. Wildheart gains 500 ATK but what really hurts this card is the fact that you can only inflict up to 1000 points of damage.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN041 | Spell Card
Phantasmal Martyrs
Normal Spell
You can only activate this card while you have 2 or more cards in your hand, and have either "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" or "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" face-up on your side of the field. By sending your entire hand to the Graveyard, Special Summon 3 "Phantasmal Martyr Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/
ATK 0/DEF 0) in Attack Position on your side of the field.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This card is too situational and too horrid to get any playability out.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN040 | Spell Card
Ancient Gear Drill
Normal Spell
You can only activate this card by discarding 1 card from your hand while a monster that includes "Ancient Gear" in its card name is face-up on your side of the field. Select 1 Spell Card from your Deck and Set it on your side of the field. You cannot use that Spell Card this turn.
(Common)

While you get to set a Spell Card out, you cannot use it this turn, making it easy pray for Spell and Trap removal so be careful with this card.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN039 | Spell Card
Ancient Gear Factory
Normal Spell
Select 1 monster in your hand that includes "Ancient Gear" in its card name (show the monster to your opponent). Remove from play "Ancient Gear" cards in your Graveyard whose total Levels are equal to double the selected card's. You don't have to Tribute when you Normal Summon the selected card this turn.
(Common)

Bring out your Gear Golem without the need to Tribute monsters on your side of the field! The thing is, you must remove AG monsters from play that have a total level of 16!

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN038 | Spell Card
Magnet Circle LV2
Normal Spell
Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Machine-Type monster from your hand.
(Common)

Three words: Crowler Deck only! Don't use this any other Deck!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN037 | Spell Card
Hero Heart
Normal Spell
Select 1 face-up monster on your side of the field that includes "Elemental Hero" in its card name to activate this card. This turn, the ATK of the selected monster is halved and it can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.
(Common)

Allow Bladedge or another powerful Hero to attack twice! The drawback is their ATK is halved. An okay card for Jaden Decks but nothing else.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN036 | Fusion Monster
D.3.S. Frog
WATER | Aqua-Type Fusion | Level 8 | ATK 2500 | DEF 2000
"Des Frog" + "Des Frog" + "Des Frog
A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material monsters. Increase the ATK of this card by 500 points for each "Treeborn Frog" in your Graveyard.
(Common)

This can be useful in a Science, Frog or Aqua Deck but it needs other support to do it though.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN035 | Ritual Monster
Demise, King of Armageddon
DARK | Fiend-Type Ritual | Level 8 | ATK 2400 | DEF 2000
This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "End of the World". By paying 2000 Life Points, destroy all cards on the field, except this card.
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

2400 ATK also isn't that great when compared to the The Masked Beast (3200 ATK) but pay 2000 Life Points and you clear the field except himself, but it's best to use it when you have no other cards out.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN034 | Ritual Monster
Ruin, Queen of Oblivion
LIGHT | Fairy-Type Ritual | Level 8 | ATK 2300 | DEF 2000
This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "End of the World". If this card destroys your opponent's monster as a result of battle, it can attack once again in a row.
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

While she has 2300 ATK, which is horrid for a Ritual Monster, she can be a real pest for your opponent since she can attack a second time if she destroys an opponent's monster in battle!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN033 | Effect Monster
Divine Dragon - Excelion
LIGHT | Dragon | Level 5 | ATK 1500 | DEF 900
When this card is Normal Summoned, it gets 1 of the following effects for each "Divine Dragon - Excelion" in your Graveyard when this effect resolves (your choice). These effects cannot accumulate. ● Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points. ● If this card destroys your opponent's monster as a result of battle, it can attack once again in a row. ● When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Give it a boost with its own effect! The thing is you cannot use all 3 effects and 1 Tribute for a 1500 ATK monster alone is just bad.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN032 | Effect Monster
Sand Moth
EARTH | Rock | Level 4 | ATK 1000 | DEF 2000
When this face-down Defense Position card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, except as a result of battle, switch the original ATK and DEF of this card, and Special Summon it to your side of the field.
(Common)

He gets his own monster Reborn/Shield & Sword effect when destroyed by anything except battle. That's what makes this card horrible. The 2000 DEF isn't bad though.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN031 | Effect Monster
Grass Phantom
WATER | Plant | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 1000
Increase the ATK of this card by 500 points for each "Grass Phantom" in your Graveyard.
(Common)

None is how many copies of this card you should have in your Deck if any.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN030 | Effect Monster
Malice Ascendant
DARK | Zombie | Level 4 | ATK 700 | DEF 1000
While this card is face-up on the field, during your opponent's Standby Phase, send a number of cards from the top of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of "Malice Ascendant"(s) in your Graveyard.
(Common)

With such horrid stats of (700/1000), his effect won't even get a chance to activate the effect, nor will you be safe from a direct attack.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN029 | Effect Monster
Memory Crusher
DARK | Fiend | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 600
If this card attacks your opponent's Life Points directly, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the number of cards in your opponent's Fusion Deck x 100 points.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Just a horrible card that is required in every set produced.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN028 | Effect Monster
Princess Curran
DARK | Spellcaster | Level 4 | ATK 2000 | DEF 0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Trial of the Princesses". During your Standby Phase, inflict 600 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Like Princess Pikeru, this has very small playability. If you must use her, burn Decks are your only alternative.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN027 | Effect Monster
Princess Pikeru
LIGHT | Spellcaster | Level 4 | ATK 2000 | DEF 0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Trial of the Princesses". During your Standby Phase, increase your Life Points by 800 points for each monster on your side of the field.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

An okay card for Life Point Gain Decks but nothing else.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN026 | Effect Monster
Beelze Frog
WATER | Aqua | Level 3 | ATK 1200 | DEF 800
Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." in your Graveyard.
(Common)

He'll certainly croak quickly with such low stats. In fact, he'll croak so quickly that he won't get to use his effect!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN025 | Effect Monster
Treeborn Frog
WATER | Aqua | Level 1 | ATK 100 | DEF 100
If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase and there are no Spell or Trap Cards on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card to your side of the field. This effect cannot be activated if there is a face-up "Treeborn Frog" on your side of the field.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Without the deadly combo with Sacred Phoenix, this card is utterly useless.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN024 | Effect Monster
Doom Dozer
EARTH | Insect | Level 8 | ATK 2800 | DEF 2600
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 2 Insect-Type monsters in your Graveyard. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, send 1 card from the top of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

A very powerful monster but you need to remove 2 Insect monsters from your Graveyard from play, making this a must for Insect Decks!

                               Rating: 4 | SOI-EN023 | Effect Monster
Saber Beetle
EARTH | Insect | Level 6 | ATK 2400 | DEF 600
During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points.
(Common)

Definitely one of the better Insect monsters in this set! No Insect Deck should be without it!

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN022 | Effect Monster
Anteatereatingant
EARTH | Insect | Level 5 | ATK 2000 | DEF 500
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 2 Spell or Trap Cards on your side of the field to the Graveyard. This card can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field, but it cannot attack this turn if you activate this effect.
(Common)

This is just horrible. First of all, you must send 2 Spell/Traps to your Graveyard and it only has 2000 ATK. Second, he cannot attack the turn you destroy an opponent's S/T! Truly horrid.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN021 | Effect Monster
Chainsaw Insect
EARTH | Insect | Level 4 | ATK 2400 | DEF 0
If this card battles a monster, your opponent draws 1 card at the end of the Damage Step.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

The strongest Level 4 Insect monster out thus far and best of all it doesn't have a deadly drawback! Who cares if your opponent gets an extra card? He's still got 2400 ATK points!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN020 | Effect Monster
Silent Insect
EARTH | Insect | Level 2 | ATK 200 | DEF 300
This card is changed to Defense Position when it is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned. While this card is face-up on the field, negate the effects of all Continuous Spell Cards and Continuous Trap Cards.
(Common)

The only good thing about this card is if you Normal Summon or Flip Summon it he goes to Defense Position. An Insect Deck only card.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN019 | Effect Monster
Gokipon
EARTH | Insect | Level 2 | ATK 800 | DEF 800
When this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, add 1 Insect-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or less from your Deck to your hand.
(Common)

The Sangan for Insect Decks and with such low stats, there's no doubt in my mind that it won't be destroyed as a result of battle. Helpful in Insect Decks but that's pretty much it.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN018 | Effect Monster
Parasitic Ticky
EARTH | Insect | Level 1 | ATK ? | DEF ?
The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the number of tokens on the field x 500 points.
(Common)

Just when you think Insect monsters cannot get any weaker, this guy comes along. There won't be many Tokens out when this is played so just skip this card.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN017 | Effect Monster
Tenkabito Shien
FIRE | Pyro | Level 4 | ATK 1500 | DEF 1000
This card is unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards.
(Common)

Even Wildheart is a better card to play than this as it has 600 more DEF. There's just no reason to use this card at all.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN016 | Effect Monster
Disciple of the Forbidden Spell
LIGHT | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 800
When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, declare different monster Card Attributes equal to the number of "Disciple of the Forbidden Spell"(s) in your Graveyard. If this card attacks a monster that has a declared Attribute, destroy the monster without applying damage calculation.
(Common)

While it's nice that he can destroy the attacked monster whose different attribute(s) you chose, it's still not that great a card as we have Gemini Elf and GAF that can trample it.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN015 | Effect Monster
Chain Thrasher
WIND | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1000 | DEF 600
In addition to a normal attack, this card can attack during the same Battle Phase as many times as the number of "Chain Thrasher"(s) in your Graveyard.
(Common)

A horrid Warrior with stats of (1000/600) isn't worth playing and it won't be able to attack much if at all.

                               Rating: 3 | SOI-EN014 | Effect Monster
D.D. Guide
DARK | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1400 | DEF 1000
When this card is Normal Summoned, control of this card shifts to your opponent. During each player's End Phase, your opponent selects 1 card from the Graveyard of this card's controller and removes it from play.
(Common)

It may have low stats but when Normal Summoned, your opponent gets the card, which is most likely what you want! Still, he must be Normal Summoned to get his effect.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN013 | Effect Monster
B.E.S. Covered Core
EARTH | Machine | Level 7 | ATK 2500 | DEF 800
Put 2 counters on this card when you Normal Summon it. This card is not destroyed as a result of battle. If this card battles a monster, toss a coin and call it at the end of the Damage Step. If you call it wrong, remove 1 counter. If this card battles without a counter, destroy this card at the end of the Damage Step.
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

I have to admit that this is one of the better B.E.S. monsters out but Summoned Skull is better still as it doesn't need counters to stay on the field plus it has better DEF.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN012 | Effect Monster
Machine King Prototype
EARTH | Machine | Level 3 | ATK 1600 | DEF 1500
Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 100 points for each Machine-Type monster on the field other than this card.
(Common)

The thing with prototypes is that they usually fail at functioning properly and this one fails at being a worthy card to play.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN011 | Effect Monster
Adhesive Explosive
WIND | Machine | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 1000
If your opponent's monster attacks this face-down Defense Position card, this card becomes an Equip Card equipped to the attacking monster, without applying damage calculation. Destroy the equipped monster during the Standby Phase of your opponent's next turn.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

AE is nothing more than a watered-down Blast Sphere. Machine Decks might find use for it though but BS is a better card for Machine Decks. We just have to wait for its English release.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN010 | Effect Monster
Proto-Cyber Dragon
LIGHT | Machine | Level 3 | ATK 1100 | DEF 600
This card's name is treated as "Cyber Dragon" while it is face-up on the field.
(Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This is just horrid! While he may be useful when you don't have 3 Cyber Dragons out and you want to use this for the third and play Polymerization, Cyber Dragon is better so use that instead.

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN009 | Effect Monster
Ancient Gear Cannon
EARTH | Machine | Level 2 | ATK 500 | DEF 500
By Tributing this card, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points, and then neither player can activate Trap Cards until the End Phase of this turn.
(Common)

Again, run this in Dr. Crowler Decks only!

                               Rating: 1 | SOI-EN008 | Effect Monster
Ancient Gear
EARTH | Machine | Level 2 | ATK 100 | DEF 800
While an "Ancient Gear" is face-up on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand in Attack Position.
(Common)

Besides Dr. Vellian Crowler Decks, this card is useless.

Cyber Laser Dragon
LIGHT | Machine | Level 7 | ATK 2400 | DEF 1800
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Photon Generator Unit". You can destroy 1 monster with ATK or DEF equal to or higher than the ATK of this card. You can only use this effect once per turn.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

While 2400 ATK for a 7-star monster may seem obsolete, he can destroy an opponent's monster with an ATK equal to or greater than his own and best of all, it's cost free!

Cyber Barrier Dragon
LIGHT | Machine | Level 6 | ATK 800 | DEF 2800
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Attack Reflector Unit". Once per turn, while this card is in Attack Position, negate your opponent's first attack.
(Super Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Sure it's got 2800 DEF points but it also has only 800 ATK, which isn't too useful at all when Cyber Dragon himself has greater ATK. If you want to use this, do so in Zane Truesdale Decks.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN005 | Effect Monster
Hero Kid
EARTH | Warrior | Level 2 | ATK 300 | DEF 600
When this card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon any number of "Hero Kid"(s) from your Deck.
(Common)

The only reasons why this gets a 2 is because it's needed for a Trap Card in this set, which can be pretty good if used correctly. Other than that, don't use this outside of Jaden Decks.

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN004 | Effect Monster
Elemental Hero Neo Bubbleman
WATER | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 800 | DEF 1200
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" on your side of the field and "Metamorphosis" in your hand to the Graveyard. This card's name is treated as "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" while it is face-up on the field. Destroy an opponent's monster that battles this card at the end of the Damage Step.
(Common)

Outside an Elemental Hero Deck, this card is totally useless as it needs Elemental Hero Bubbleman and Metamorphosis to be discarded to Summon him. Use this in a Jaden Deck only.

Raviel, Lord of Phantasms
DARK | Fiend | Level 10 | ATK 4000 | DEF 4000
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field. Each time your opponent Normal Summons a monster(s), Special Summon 1 "Phantasm Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) on your side of the field. This token cannot declare an attack. Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster on your side of the field, increase the ATK of this card by the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the End Phase of this turn.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

The last of the Sacred Beasts but also one of the most powerful! Like Hamon, it has 4000 ATK and DEF points but he needs 3 Fiend-Type monsters to be tributed. Great card overall!

                               Rating: 4 | SOI-EN002 | Effect Monster
Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 10 | ATK 4000 | DEF 4000
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 face-up Continuous Spell Cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard. When this card destroys your opponent's monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. While this card is in face-up Defense Position on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select another monster as an attack target.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This is a nasty card with strong stats! Plus it also inflicts 1000 points to your opponent when 1 of his or her monster! Sure you must Tribute 3 Continuous Spells to play this but it's worth it!

                               Rating: 2 | SOI-EN001 | Effect Monster
Uria, Lord of Searing Flames
FIRE | Pyro | Level 10 | ATK 0 | DEF 0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 face-up Trap Cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard. Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points for each Continuous Trap Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can destroy 1 Set Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This gets 2/5 is because you need to Tribute 3 face up Traps on your side of the field but his ATK is increased by 1000 per Continuous Trap in your Grave, which can be good but still.
